Restore Your Health

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition

with Terri Mykland, FDN

What is FDN?
FDN (Functional Diagnostic Nutrition) is a revolutionary way of looking at health.  We go beyond symptoms and diagnoses, to look at the underlying imbalances that your body can tell us about.  Then we use what you tell us - your knowledge, experiences and symptoms, to get the full picture of your current health.

Using Functional Lab Testing, FDN practitioners identify healing opportunities and engage you in a remarkable healing partnership.

The guessing is over.  Now you will KNOW what your body has been trying to tell you.

Together, we will we develop a plan, based on your lab results, to optimize your health.  Your FDN practitioner will provide education, support and science-based health coaching.  You will do the work... making manageable, focused changes in areas like your eating, exercise, stress levels, and the supplements you take.

We believe that your body has deep wisdom, and that when you learn what your body is trying to tell you, you can become an optimally healthy person, by taking small but powerful actions in your life, every day.

FDN is an emerging field and growing body of medicine that bridges the gap between clinical nutrition and functional medicine."

- Reed Davis, Founder of Functional Diagnostic Nutrition

Optimally healthy people don't have symptoms.  If your body was functioning like a tuned Ferrari, you wouldn't have any squeaks or leaks.  So why do you tolerate them?  Because you don't know what else to do!  We've been sold the story by conventional medicine that having lots of small symptoms is just a part of being human.  This is just not so.

How is FDN different than being treated by a doctor, or a naturopath?  To start with, Doctors and naturopaths have been taught to diagnose disease and treat symptoms.  FDN does neither.  What we do is to test and look for underlying imbalances, and teach you about what we find.  When's the last time your doctor spent over an hour with you, teaching you about your body?  During any of our FDN  Packages, we will meet at least six times, over a period of three months, engaging in a series of in-depth conversations to optimize your health.
